This week was a really good week overall. We had
some really good lessons and 2 of our investigators are progressing a lot and
their desire to get baptized is increasing as well. We also started to teach a
"golden family" ( friends of a member). The first time we
taught them they had a lot of concerns and doubts but they have started to
become a lot more interested and willing to give us a chance. I think they will
end up getting baptized in a few months. We also had some successful
contacting and now have a few new investigators that have a lot of potential.
You could say that everything was going really well over this last week. Then
we had transfers. As transfers were getting closer I figured there were only
two possibilities, my comp was going to leave or nothing was going to change in
our area. It turned out to be very different though. My comp is staying in
Rafey and I got transferred to an area called Pueblo Nuevo. It was weird for me
to be getting transferred because I only had 1 transfer in that area. My
new comp was my district leader the transfer before, so I left my area to go to
the one right next to it. I wish that I could keep working in Rafey with
the people that we have found and had progressing. But the mission goes
on and I will keep working here in this new area. On the bright side my comp is
chill and I can finally speak English with my companion again. His name is
Elder Navarrette and he is from California. I love you all and miss you
guys!
