April 20, 2016

This week was a really good week overall. We had some really good lessons and 2 of our investigators are progressing a lot and their desire to get baptized is increasing as well. We also started to teach a "golden family" ( friends of a member).   The first time we taught them they had a lot of concerns and doubts but they have started to become a lot more interested and willing to give us a chance. I think they will end up getting baptized in a few months.  We also had some successful contacting and now have a few new investigators that have a lot of potential. You could say that everything was going really well over this last week. Then we had transfers. As transfers were getting closer I figured there were only two possibilities, my comp was going to leave or nothing was going to change in our area. It turned out to be very different though. My comp is staying in Rafey and I got transferred to an area called Pueblo Nuevo. It was weird for me to be getting transferred because I only had 1 transfer in that area.  My new comp was my district leader the transfer before, so I left my area to go to the one right next to it.  I wish that I could keep working in Rafey with the people that we have found and had progressing.  But the mission goes on and I will keep working here in this new area. On the bright side my comp is chill and I can finally speak English with my companion again. His name is Elder Navarrette and he is from California.  I love you all and miss you guys!

April 6, 2016

Well conference was awesome. You told me to pick some good talks and I pick all of them. It was awesome I really enjoyed it.  Time seems to be passing by pretty fast. We are still working really hard as always and things are coming along. We should be having two baptisms on the 30th of this month so that is good. I also think I should be able to head back to Conani to see the other 4 baptisms there. I actually went back to Conani today for a few hours. My zone leader was in Conani at the beginning of his mission and now he is finishing so he wanted to go back and say goodbye to a few people. It was weird to be walking around there again but it was pretty cool. Due to that I didn’t have a really long time to write today. But yeah one of the potential baptisms is named Carolina. She is 22 and has been progressing a lot. The other is named Anyari and she is 26 I think. We are working hard to always find more people and strengthen the ward here. Life is good!  I am still happy and healthy. I will be hitting the 8 month mark this next week, so that is kinda crazy! haha  I love you
