Well that is awesome that the first people in our
family were baptized the same year of the restoration, thanks for finding that
out for me. We got our whole zone together on Thursday to have a
Thanksgiving feast. We had corn, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, chicken, pasta
salad, deviled eggs, a vegetable tray, oreo pie, and lemon pie. It was really
good and I ate so much food. I know that the chicken was apostasy but it was
the best that we could do. One of the sisters in my district that is from Utah ,made
most of the food. She has lots of cooking knowledge and due to her time in the
mission this was going to be her one and only Thanksgiving of the mission so
she was super excited about it and willing to put in a lot of effort.
This week went by really fast though. We had 7 progressing investigators
so things are going really well right now. Our investigator named Victor is
progressing a lot and wants to be baptized. We just have to finish the lessons.
For him I don´t think that it is a matter of if he will get baptized but
when. We have also made a lot of progress with ilsa who should be baptized this
upcoming Saturday. Other than that things were pretty normal this week. We are
working hard and still finding really cool and prepared people to teach. It was
pretty hot again this week which wasn´t necessarily a good thing but it was a
nice change from the rain. On Tuesday night we had a rat in our house that was
about the size of my foot. Elder Mifflin
